Human Meteor

Duke O’Dawd and Toby are looking for taxi fares when they spot a man being tossed through a warehouse window. Quickly changing into the Human Meteor, Duke rescues the man. It turns out to be an FBI agent who had been shot and thrown through the window by spies who had just stolen some sensitive photographs. Rushing inside, he tells the building manager to lock down the building so they can prevent the spies from leaving with the important photos from getting out. Despite these efforts, someone manages to slip out but he is spotted by Toby. When the boy follows after the man in Duke’s taxi, the Human Meteor notices this and quickly catches up. When the man notices he is being followed he pulls a gun and tries to shoot the pair. Although they capture the German spy, they don’t find the photos on him.

Returning to the factory, the Human Meteor resumes his search. Toby also begins looking around on his own and spots another worker putting something into a shipping crate that is being loaded onto a truck. Sneaking aboard, Toby is led to the spies hideout but is quickly found and captured. Learning that the boy is the Human Meteor’s sidekick, the spy leader has the boy strapped into a speedboat loaded with explosives in the hopes of luring the hero into a death trap. When the Human Meteor is told about Toby’s peril, he rushes to the scene to save him. Learning about the bomb, the hero quickly steers the speedboat so it is rammed by a battleship, splitting it in half and dumping the bomb into the ocean where it can’t harm anyone.

Once Toby is safe, he tells the Human Meteor that the spies were going to smuggle the photos aboard the Atlantic Queen. Rushing there, the hero catches the spies and recovers the photographs and turns them all over to the FBI.
