Hulk Comic #21

Captain Britain

Credits

At the portal to Otherworld, Captain Britain has to fend off against the White Rider the embodiment of death that has been unleashed upon him by the Doomwraiths of the Neitherworld. At first, Captain Britain doubts he can fend off what appears to be the embodiment of death. However, upon getting closer, the hero realizes that his opponent is not death itself, but a reanimated corpse.

As the battle rages on the Elves spot the arrival of the Black Knight and Moondog. When they land on the island, the Black Knight strikes the Doomwraiths with Excalibur, expelling them from the area. However, Captain Britain's advantage is lost when the White Rider fatally stabs him with a sword. As Captain Britain falls, the Black Knight steps in and destroys his foe. However, he is too late to do anything as when the Black Knight checks on his friend, he discovers that Captain Britain is now dead.
