The Death of Kid Colt!

Riding along the trial, Kid Colt hears someone crying for help. He finds a man who was shot and left for dead by Crow Gantry. Kid Colt races him to the doctor in Dry Gulch. The doctor is nervous because Crow Gantry won’t be happy that he is treating someone he left for dead. Sure enough, Crow Gantry comes in and tries to stop the doctor. However, Kid Colt overpowers him and tosses him out a window. When the other outlaws in town try to shoot him, Kid Colt outshoots them all. Realizing that they are dealing with Kid Colt, the outlaws make a run for it. Later, one of the locals tells Kid Colt that Crow Gantry and his men are waiting for him to leave so they can take over the town again. This leaves Kid Colt in a conundrum because he can’t just leave the locals to be the helpless prisoners of the gang.

Later that day, a man challenges Kid Colt to a draw and to the shock of everyone gathered he seemingly shoots Kid Colt dead in the street. When the news reaches the Gantry gang they come back to down to celebrate the death of Kid Colt. However, this was all a trick played on the gang by Kid Colt and Crow’s victim. Kid Colt appears and ambushes the outlaws again. Once they are all disarmed, Kid Colt ties them up so they can be taken to the local county jail. After being thanked for his help, Kid Colt hits the trail again.

The Outlaw and the Lady!

Tired and hungry, Kid Colt has no choice but to risk going to town even if he is at risk of being recognized. He happens to come upon a local thug named Crusher Hogan trying to convince Miss Mary to go out with him, calling her fiancee — Billy Carter — is a wimp. When Billy tries to fight back, Crusher Hogan easily trounces him. Kid Colt steps in and beats Crusher Hogan senseless.

However, this causes new problems when Miss Mary becomes smitten with Kid Colt and she pleads with him to let her leave town with him. Later, when Billy Carter thanks him for helping with Crusher Hogan, Kid Colt acts rudely and insults Billy. This goads Billy Carter into fighting him and Kid Colt takes the beating so that Mary realizes that Billy Carter is brave and she renews her engagement with him.

Satisfied that he has helped fix this couple’s romance, Kid Colt leaves town. However, Kid Colt really did love Mary but thinks that she’d be better off with Billy Carter. Meanwhile, Mary realizes what Kid Colt had done and knows that he did what he thought was right for her and decides to give up her love for him.

Gun Duel in the Desert!

Yancy Hawks stumbles upon Kid Colt’s camp while the famous outlaw is sleeping. Deciding to make a name for himself he decides to challenge him later. However, to hedge his bets, he cuts open the Kid’s canteen intending to attack him when Kid Colt is dying of thirst. The following day, Kid Colt wakes up to discover that his canteen had been cut.

He is forced to walk through the desert without any water and eventually he begins to suffer from dehydration. When Kid Colt is at his most vulnerable, Yancy Hawks challenges him to a gun battle. That’s when Kid Colt warns him of danger behind him. However, Yancy doesn’t believe him and ends up getting bit by a rattlesnake that the Kid was trying to warn him of, The Kid shoots the snake and drinks from Yancy’s canteen. However, it is too late for Yancy Hawks as the snake venom kills him quickly.
