Doctor Nemesis

Doctor Jim Bradley and Nurse Mary Strong are volunteering their time at the Red Cross blood bank where donations are needed for soldiers fighting overseas. At the end of a rewarding day, Bradley and Strong lock up for the night and leave, unaware that a Japanese spy named X2 is breaking into the building.

Sometime later, at an American based in the South Pacific, a nurse notices something wrong with one of the patients. She rushes to wake up Captain Blaine. She tells him that the soldiers recovering in the plasma ward have all contracted leprosy. Accompanying her back to the medical tent he sees that she is right. Not only that, but soon the nurse and the other soldiers fall ill. Not understanding how they all contracted leprosy, the captain tries to flee but falls ill himself. Watching from sea is a Japanese commander has been watching this and orders his men to storm the island where they easily slaughter the sickened American soldiers. When word gets back to Japan, military leaders are impressed that X2’s plot worked.

Back in the United States, X2 has set up operations in the sewers gloats over how well his scheme is working and soon he cause the downfall of the United States. He then goes into the cell where he has been keeping a number of men stricken with leprosy. He draws blood from the infected men which he uses to replace blood donated to the Red Cross so that American soldiers are stricken with the deadly disease. When the men plead for X2 to kill them, whips them instead. After their torture is over, one of the lepers has had enough and escapes by pulling on his shackles so hard that his arms rip of his body. Despite this serious dismemberment, the leper manages to escape up to the surface where he collapses in front of a commuter train. X2 tries to stop him but it is too late to stop the escapee. Aboard the train is Jim Bradley and takes a look at the man on the tracks. The leper tries to explain what is going on, but X2 tosses a steel girder on the third rail. When it comes into contact with the dying leper it electrocutes him.

Bradley quickly changes into Doctor Nemesis and gives X2 chase. When the spy realizes who is following him, X2 prepares to inject the hero with a syringe full of leprosy infected blood. However, Doctor Nemesis proves to be the better combatant and injects X2 with his truth serum. This forces the Japanese spy to explain his plan and then, as a matter of pride, commits suicide by jumping onto the third rail of the subway line. Later, Doctor Nemesis finds X2’s secret cavern, explaining the recent massacre of American troops overseas.
