Human Meteor

As they drive past a military base in their taxi, Duke O’Dawd and Toby witness as a plane drops a bomb on the base. Changing into the Human Meteor, Duke takes Toby up into the air to see what is going on. They are shocked to discover that the pilots are Japanese saboteurs. They make the plane crash and search for survivors. They find one, and the Human Meteor leaves Toby to flag down a car to get the injured man to a hospital while he goes back to the army base and learns what is going on. Unfortunately for Toby, the car he flags down is carrying more Japanese spies who take the boy prisoner.

Learning nothing from the base, the Human Meteor heads to the hospital in the hopes of getting answers from the injured spies, unaware of what happened. Meanwhile, Toby has broken out of the room he has been locked in and tries to escape. However, he is quickly re-captured by the spies. Luckily, the struggle is spotted by the Human Meteor who tries to save the boy. Unfortunately, the Japanese manage to take Toby away and their leader threatens to execute the boy unless the hero stands down. The Human Meteor agrees and is locked in a room where he finds that these Japanese spies have been using photograph transmitters to send secrets back to their masters. Also finding a diathermy set, the Human Meteor uses it to send out an distress call.

As the authorities arrive on the scene, the leader of the Japanese spies tries to flee in an ambulance with Toby as his prisoner. Ultimately, the spy is caught when the Human Meteor catches up and saves Toby and turns the spy over to the authorities.
