Human Meteor

While on duty as a taxi driver, Duke O’Dawd picks up a pair of wealthy playboys as a fare. They ask to be taken to the waterfront, giving Duke a special pass that will allow them to go to the restricted area. Shortly after they arrive, Duke spots a car full of cooks doing a drive-by shooting on an patrol car. Changing into the Human Meteor quickly catches the shooters and turns them over to the police. Later, the hero pays a visit to the injured police officer in the hospital and learns that he was watching a yacht he suspects is going to be meeting up with a Japanese sub.

In order to confirm this, Duke returns home and has Toby, his boy sidekick, stow away on the ship so he can switch on the radio so the Human Meteor can track it. Unfortunately for Toby, he is quickly caught and is forced to be cabin boy. While scrubbing the deck sees that the crew regularly stops so a diver can go into the water. Snooping around, Toby then finds a map but is caught in the process then tossed overboard. Surviving the attempt on his life, Toby sneaks back aboard the ship and radios the Human Meteor for help.

Tracking the signal, the Human Meteor dives into the water near the ship and discovers that this entire operation was an attempt to salvage munitions from a sunken Japanese ship. The Human Meteor quickly smashes the traitors and uses the munitions to destroy a nearby Japanese sub. WIth the battle over, the Human Meteor flies Toby back to the mainland where they tell the wounded officer that their mission was a success.
