Surprise Attack!

Rock Murdock, Scuttlebutt Stacy and their fellow soldiers are fighting with communist soldiers sending them fleeing back to enemy lines where they keep the American troops at bay with their artillery cannons. With supplies coming but no way to get past the enemy heavy guns, Rock comes up with a solution when he sees a supply truck full of empty oil drums. The soldiers cut the tops off and climb in and then roll down the hill toward the enemy. The communists soldiers do not realize the ruse until it is too late and they are overpowered by American soldiers.

Captured by the Commies!

Rock Murdock is in a slump after enemy troops captured his buddy Scuttlebutt Stacy, as he blames himself for it. However whenever he asks his commanding officer to let him go out searching for Stacy, he is denied as the mission is too personal for him. While another troop is going out to look for prisoners of war, Rock is stuck watching the base and their ammo and fuel supplies. Suddenly, enemy soldiers appear at the base using Scuttlebutt as a hostage in order to clear out the base of their supplies. Rock distracts the enemy soldiers by tossing his cigar in an oil drum and then attacks. Freeing Scuttlebutt, the pair beat the communist soldiers into submission just as their platoon returns from their mission.
