Spider-Man has been assigned to a gauntlet by Aracde. He has to play along as there has been a bomb set up somewhere that will threaten innocent lives. He now finds himself falling to the Earth amid airplane wreckage and thinks back to how he got into this situation…

Fifteen Minutes Earlier

Spider-Man found himself suddenly on a commercial with his foes Mysterio, Sandman, Hydro-Man, and the Shocker. Spider-Man quickly takes out the Shocker but is soon surrounded by the Sandman who attempts to smother him. Although Spider-Man manages to break free Hydro-Man tries to do the same thing with his liquid body.

Spider-Man breaks free and charges to the front of the plane. His path is blocked by Mysterio who warns Spider-Man that the plane will stop working as soon as you stop believing it will fly. Having no time for Mysterio’s illusions, Spider-Man quickly knocks him out and heads into the cockpit. As he suspected it is running on auto-pilot. However, the plane suddenly breaks apart, sending the wall-crawler falling to the ocean below.

As he falls, he tries to figure out who could have rallied all of these foes together and paid for such an elaborate series of traps. As he hits the ocean below him, Spider-Man thinks it must have been the Kingpin. He then hits the water so hard that he blacks out.
