Amazing-Man
The Amazing-Man and Tommy stop a gang of men from robbing a aid shipment that will bring food and supplies to wartorn England. This earns the ire of the mastermind behind this scheme, a mobster named Gila. So furious is Gila that he hijacks a television broadcast to announce his vow of revenge against the Amazing-Man. After making his broadcast he checks in his his ally, a Nazi named Endler. He tells Endler that he cares little for the Nazi cause and is only helping in this operation because he blames the United States government for his disfigurements.
The next day, the Amazing-Man, Tommy, and Zona receive a telegram warning them that Gila is going to blow up Grant Bridge. When Aman and Tommy fly there though they discover nothing amiss. They soon discover that this was merely a distraction to get the two heroes across town so that Gila and his men to set fire to a military armory. Meanwhile, Zona is meeting with Major Davis to get the details on this attack and he expresses his concern that there is a spy among his unit and hopes the spy has not learned about the new airplane factor. Unfortunately that spy, Endler, is listening in on the conversation and rushes to a nearby phone to call it in. When Zona catches him on the phone, Endler knocks her out but has to leave the woman behind when the Amazing-Man and Tommy arrive. Learning what is going on, Aman gives Zona a gas bomb to defend herself in the future and heads off with Tommy to investigate things.
When Zona returns home, she finds Gila waiting for her and he takes the woman prisoner. When the Amazing-Man and Tommy return to their home an hour later they get a call from Gila who tells the heroes where Zona is being held prisoner. However, Aman considers the factor a higher priority and he and Tommy go to defend it, confident that Zona can defend herself. At the factory, they catch Endler and his men trying to sabotage the factory by using a powerful weapon to put the workers into suspended animation. While the Amazing-Man is rounding up Gila’s men, Tommy goes to the hideout where Zona is being held prisoner to try and save her. Although he has the element of surprise, Endler arrives and uses his immobilizer to incapacitate the Amazing-Kid. When Zona tries to use her smoke bomb, Endler punches her out.
This angers Gila who has grown attracted to Zona and knocks the Nazi out, but is forced to flee when the Amazing-Man arrives on the scene. With the danger passed, Aman frees Tommy. Elsewhere, Gila vows to get revenge against the Amazing-Man.
