Texas Kid
Lance Temple goes to get the mail in town and when he returns he hides the fact that his father got a letter in the mail because it is a call for help from an old friend named Burro Bates. Bates found a gold mine in Skull Valley but there are those who will kill him in order to get it. Lance makes up an excuse that they got someone’s mail by accident and heads out to Skull Valley. There he changes into the Texas Kid. When he hears a gunshot he goes to investigate and finds his friends Red Hawk and Emelio are in trouble as they are standing over a dead body. They are attacked by men who tell them are trespassing and a fight breaks out. When the sheriff arrives he accuses the strangers of murdering the man on the ground, who turns out to be Burro Bates.
On the run from the law, the Texas Kid and his allies eventually expose that the real killer was the sheriff himself after he is fatally shot by outlaws who were seeking the location of the hidden gold mine.

Texas Kid
After being defeated by the Texas Kid, a Native American renegade named Bear Talker is being brought to jail by the local sheriff. However, Bear Talker’s name is quite literal as he calls out for a pair of grizzlies who attack the sheriff and free their master. When news gets back to town, Lance Temple learns about Bear Talker’s escape and goes out looking for him as the Texas Kid.
However, he is caught changing into costume by Bear Talker who ambushes him and ties him up. He decides to teach the Texas Kid a lesson by torturing his father. Leaving one of his bears as a guard, Talking Bear goes to the Temple ranch where captures Zane Temple. Meanwhile, the Kid calls his horse Thunder to fight the bear that is standing guard. Unfortunately, Bear Talker arrives and scares Thunder off with gunfire.
As Bear Talker prepares to torture Zane Temple, the Texas Kid manages to break free. When the bears try to attack him they are shot dead by Emelio and Red Hawk who have arrived in the nick of time. The Texas Kid then faces Bear Talker and in a one-on-one fight, the Texas Kid overpowers the Native American and chokes him to death in order to safeguard his secret identity.

No Place to Hide
The Gunhawk is cooking breakfast at his camp when he is suddenly ambushed by a man who tries to steal his horse. When the man tries to ride off on Blaze, Red commands his horse to buck its passenger. Seeing the young man is in a state he asks what’s going on. The man introduces himself as Sim Cannon from the town of Thunderhead. He explains that he has been on the run from the law and was seeking a horse so he can ride into Mexico. He goes on to explain he doesn’t know why he is wanted and what made him really fear for his life was when he almost ended up on the end of a lynch mob’s noose.
The Gunhawk tells Sim to stay put while he goes into Thunderhead to straighten things out. While investigating he learns that the sheriff had accused Sim Cannon of crimes committed by his son, who bears a striking resemblance to Cannon. The Gunhawk learns this as the sheriff is writing a confession, his guilt has grown too great. Confronted by his son the pair exchange gunfire, fatally shooting each other. Although the sheriff and his son is dead, the Gunhawk has evidence to clear Sim Cannon’s name.

Texas Kid
When the government decides to bring a rail line through the town of Calibre City, the local ranchers are upset that the plans will put the line of track through their land. Stoking this dissent is the owner of a pony express. When the mailman coming to deliver the announcement on the railroad is murdered and his letters stolen, Lance Temple investigates as the Texas Kid.
He catches up with the killers and recovers the stolen mail. When he goes to the railroad’s office to plead on the behalf of the local ranchers he learns that the line had been changed because the original contour of the track was wrong and the new path won’t affect any of the local ranchers. Riding back to town, the Texas Kid tells this to the ranchers but the owner of the pony express is furious and tries to attack the Texas Kid. The Kid easily disarms him and reveals that the killers were his own men as he wanted to prevent a railroad from going through town for fear it would ruin his pony express business.
